Donald Trump really nailed it on this one …
When Donald Trump finally took the stage at the Republican National Convention to accept the party’s nomination for president Thursday night, one of his first references to Hillary Clinton came when he branded her a “world class liar.”
Dolly Kyle could agree more than most.
In an interview with The Point at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Kyle, the author of a book describing her own decades-long sexual affair with Bill Clinton, had a message about Hillary that all American voters – especially Democratic voters – need to hear.
“I believe Hillary is cognitively impaired,” Kyle told The Point. “I know that she’s been a pathological liar for 40 years, and she can’t tell the truth from fiction. Because she believes her own lies.
“The problem in Benghazi is one of these things. She cannot, she absolutely cannot function in an emergency situation,” Kyle said, “and she cannot properly plan for something.”
Since that basically describes the job of president, that should spell problems for a woman seeking the most powerful office on earth – and her supporters.
Kyle’s book, “Hillary: The Other Woman: A Political Memoir” details a lifelong relationship with the Clintons that started when Kyle was 11 and young “Billy” Clinton was 12. In the book, Kyle maintains her relationship with Billy remained sexual through the years, even when both were married to other people.
That gave her a unique perspective on the power couple of Democrat politics – especially Hillary.
“Hillary has been going around, cleaning up after Billy, all these many decades,” she said. “They can’t tell the truth about anything.”
During the interview, Kyle described the first time she met Hillary with Bill Clinton back in 1974. It might have been the only time Hillary was “genuine,” she said. And the description was not complimentary. “The woman was so odious-looking and smelling, I thought it was a joke.”
But what really compelled her to write the book, she said, was seeing a Hillary Clinton television advertisement in December where the former first lady and secretary of state declared that any woman who claimed to have been raped or sexually abused deserved to be believed.
“It made me so angry, I wanted to throw a shoe at the television screen,” she said. “Support them unless the rapist and sex abuser was her husband, Billy Clinton, whose coattails she was busy riding to the White House.”
While it might have made her angry, it also gave Kyle a clue to just how deeply she thinks Hillary is disconnected from reality. In her book, she lists symptoms of cognitive impairment as presented by the Centers for Disease Control and compares them to Hillary’s actions and words throughout her life.
“It lines up, boom, boom, boom, boom,” she said.
And that’s the message she wants to get to Americans, even the Democrat delegates and super delegates who will be at next week’s Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. If they knew the truth about Hillary, she said, they wouldn’t make her the party’s nominee for the 2016 election.
“Something is seriously wrong with her …. Mentally,” Kyle said. “And I think that would give the super delegates an out, an easy, non-political out, to say this woman is not mentally capable of being the president of the United States, having her finger on the nuclear trigger.”
That’s a sharp contrast to the public image generally associated with Hillary – the wonkish work horse who was plugging away at policy while Bill partied – but that’s exactly Kyle’s point. The title of her book – “Hillary: The Other Woman” was more than a play on words generally describing her adulterous affair with Bill Clinton, Kyle said.
To Kyle, it was an apt description of Hillary herself.
“She is not the woman most people think she is,” Kyle told The Point at the end of the interview. “She is absolutely an other woman, and we would get that other person in the White House.
